About The Position

This role is for a Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) within the Central Staffing Office, working PRN nights (36 hours/week) in Region C. The Central Staffing Office is an internal staffing department that provides clinical staffing resources for all Texas Health Resources (THR) hospitals. The department prides itself on high-performing staff with excellent critical thinking skills. The nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and creating a healing environment. This position requires flexibility to float throughout the Metroplex based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Nursing Diploma Required or Associate’s degree in Nursing Required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Preferred
  • Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency
  • 5 years of experience with three years in the last five years as a Registered Nurse in area of specialty Required
  • Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire
  • NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program upon hire
  • NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program upon hire
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have flexibility to float throughout the Metroplex based on the needs of the business.
