About The Position

Texas Health Central Staffing Office is seeking a Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) for the NICU Unit, working nights on a PRN basis. This role is part of an internal staffing department that provides clinical staffing resources for all Texas Health Resources (THR) hospitals. The position requires flexibility to float throughout the Metroplex based on business needs and is assigned to Region A, which includes Allen, Frisco, Plano, Dallas, Rockwall, Kaufman, and Center for Diagnostics & Surgery Plano. The Central Staffing Office prides itself on high-performing staff with excellent critical thinking skills.

Requirements

  • Nursing Diploma Required or Associate’s degree in Nursing Required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Preferred
  • Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Required
  • 5 years of experience with three years in the last five years as a Registered Nurse in area of specialty Required
  • Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire Required
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire Required
  • NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program upon hire Required
  • NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program upon hire Required
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
