Seasonal Registered Nurse / RN - Central Staffing Office – NICU, PRN - Nights (24hr/wk) – Region C
About The Position
This is a seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) position for the NICU unit, working nights on a PRN basis (24 hours per week). The role is part of the Central Staffing Office, which provides clinical staffing resources for all Texas Health hospitals. The position requires flexibility to float throughout the Metroplex based on business needs, specifically within Region C (Fort Worth, Southwest, Cleburne, Clearfork, Burleson, Willow Park, Arlington Memorial, Heart & Vascular, and the Specialty Hospital). The Central Staffing Office is known for its high-performing staff with excellent critical thinking skills.
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma Required or Associate’s degree in Nursing Required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Preferred
- Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Required
- 5 years of experience with three years in the last five years as a Registered Nurse in area of specialty Required
- Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire Required
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire Required
- NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program upon hire Required
- NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program upon hire Required
- A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
