Seasonal Registered Nurse / RN - Central Staffing Office – NICU, PRN - Nights (36hr/wk) – Region C
About The Position
Texas Health Central Staffing Office is an internal staffing department that provides clinical staffing resources for all Texas Health Resources (THR) hospitals. This role requires flexibility to float throughout the Metroplex based on business needs. The Central Staffing Office is organized by region, and this department prides itself on high-performing staff with excellent critical thinking skills. This is a seasonal position for the NICU unit, PRN, requiring availability for 36 hours per week, specifically on the night shift (7 PM - 7 AM). This position is not eligible for Full Time or Part Time benefits.
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma Required or Associate’s degree in Nursing Required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Preferred
- Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Required
- 5 years of experience with three years in the last five years as a Registered Nurse in area of specialty Required
- Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire Required
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire Required
- NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program upon hire Required
- NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program upon hire Required
- A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
