Seasonal Registered Nurse / RN - Central Staffing Office – NICU, PRN - Nights (36hr/wk) – Region B
About The Position
This position is for a Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) within the Central Staffing Office, working PRN nights, with an expectation of 36 hours per week. The role involves delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a supportive, team environment with opportunities for growth. The Central Staffing Office provides clinical staffing resources for all Texas Health Resources (THR) hospitals and requires flexibility to float throughout the Metroplex based on business needs. The department emphasizes high-performing staff with excellent critical thinking skills.
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma Required or Associate’s degree in Nursing Required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Preferred
- Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency
- 5 years of experience with three years in the last five years as a Registered Nurse in area of specialty Required
- Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire
- NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program upon hire
- NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program upon hire
- A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
