About The Position

Texas Health Central Staffing Office (Intensive Care Unit) is an internal staffing department that provides clinical staffing resources for all Texas Health Resources (THR) hospitals. The Central Staffing Office is broken into particular regions. The department prides itself in high performing staff with excellent critical thinking skills. This position is for a Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) within the Central Staffing Office, primarily working in Region C. The role requires availability for 36 hours per week on days (7 AM-7 PM) and is compensated at $70.00 per hour. The main office is located in Arlington, TX, but the work will be performed in Region C, which includes Fort Worth, Southwest, Cleburne, Clearfork, Burleson, Willow Park, and the Specialty Hospital.

Requirements

  • Nursing Diploma required or Associate’s degree in Nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
  • Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency
  • Required 5 years of experience with three years in the last five years as a Registered Nurse in area of specialty
  • Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire
  • NIHSS - National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification 30 days
