Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) - Central Staffing Office - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - PRN Days - Region A
About The Position
Texas Health Central Staffing Office is seeking a Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This role is part of an internal staffing department that provides clinical staffing resources for all Texas Health Resources (THR) hospitals, specifically within Region A. The department is known for its high-performing staff with excellent critical thinking skills. The position requires availability for 36 hours per week during day shifts (7 AM - 7 PM) and is compensated at $70.00 per hour. The main office is in Arlington, TX, but the work will primarily be in Region A, which includes Allen, Frisco, Plano, Dallas, Prosper, Rockwall, Kaufman, and the Center for Diagnostics & Surgery Plano.
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma required or Associate’s degree in Nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
- Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency
- 5 years of experience with three years in the last five years as a Registered Nurse in area of specialty
- Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire
- NIHSS - National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification 30 days
- A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
