About The Position
This is a seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) position within the Central Staffing Office, focusing on the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The role operates on a PRN basis for day shifts, requiring availability for 36 hours per week. The Central Staffing Office is an internal department that provides clinical staffing resources for all Texas Health Resources (THR) hospitals, with a focus on high-performing staff possessing excellent critical thinking skills. The main office is located in Arlington, TX, but the primary work location will be in Region B.
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma required or Associate’s degree in Nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
- CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency
- 5 years of experience with three years in the last five years as a Registered Nurse in area of specialty
- Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire
- NIHSS - National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification 30 days
- A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
