Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) - Central Staffing Office - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - PRN Days - Region B
About The Position
Texas Health Central Staffing Office is seeking a Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Region B. This is a PRN position, meaning "as needed," with a requirement to be available for 36 hours per week. The role is based out of the Central Staffing Office in Arlington, TX, but the work will primarily be in Region B, which includes Denton, Flower Mound, Southlake, HEB, Arlington Memorial, Heart & Vascular, Alliance, and Azle. The Central Staffing Office is an internal department that provides clinical staffing resources for all Texas Health Resources (THR) hospitals, focusing on high-performing staff with excellent critical thinking skills.
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
- Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency.
- 5 years of experience with three years in the last five years as a Registered Nurse in area of specialty.
- Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire.
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire.
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire.
- NIHSS - National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification within 30 days.
- A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
