Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) - Central Staffing Office - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - PRN Days - Region A
About The Position
The Central Staffing Office (Intensive Care Unit) is an internal staffing department that provides clinical staffing resources for all Texas Health Resources (THR) hospitals. The Central Staffing Office is broken into particular regions. The department prides itself in high performing staff with excellent critical thinking skills. This seasonal RN position is for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and requires availability for 36 hours per week. The work hours are PRN "as needed" and the shift is Days, 7 AM-7 PM. This position is not eligible for Full Time or Part Time benefits. The pay rate is $70.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree in Nursing required
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
- Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency
- 5 years of experience with three years in the last five years as a Registered Nurse in area of specialty Required
- Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire
- NIHSS - National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification within 30 days
- A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
