Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) - Central Staffing Office - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - PRN Nights - Region C
About The Position
Texas Health Central Staffing Office (Intensive Care Unit) is an internal staffing department that provides clinical staffing resources for all Texas Health Resources (THR) hospitals. The department prides itself in high-performing staff with excellent critical thinking skills. This role is for a Seasonal Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) working PRN nights within Region C, which includes Fort Worth, Southwest, Cleburne, Clearfork, Burleson, Willow Park, and the Specialty Hospital. The main office is in Arlington, TX, but primary work will be in Region C. The position requires availability for 36 hours per week and is not eligible for Full Time or Part Time benefits. The shift is nights, 7 PM - 7 AM, with no self-scheduling. The pay rate is $70.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma required or Associate’s degree in Nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
- Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency
- 5 years of experience with three years in the last five years as a Registered Nurse in area of specialty
- Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire
- NIHSS - National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification within 30 days
- A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
