Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) - Central Staffing Office – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) - PRN Days - Region C
About The Position
Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) Progressive Care Unit (PCU) PRN - Central Staffing Office. This position is with the Texas Health Central Staffing Office, an internal staffing department that provides clinical staffing resources for all Texas Health Resources (THR) hospitals. The Central Staffing Office is broken into particular regions, and this role will primarily be working in Region C. The department prides itself in high performing staff with excellent critical thinking skills. The work hours are PRN "as needed" and require availability for 36 hours/week. This position is not eligible for Full Time or Part Time benefits. The shift is Day, 7 AM-7 PM, with no self-scheduling. Region C includes Fort Worth, Southwest, Cleburne, Clearfork, Burleson, Willow Park, and the Specialty Hospital.
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma required or Associate’s degree in Nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
- Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency
- 5 years of experience with three years in the last five years as a Registered Nurse in area of specialty
- Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire
- NIHSS - National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification 30 days
- A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
