About The Position

This role is for a Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) in the Central Staffing Office, specifically for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The position is PRN (as needed) for night shifts and is located in Region C. The Central Staffing Office is an internal department that provides clinical staffing resources for all Texas Health Resources (THR) hospitals. The department prides itself on high-performing staff with excellent critical thinking skills. The main office for the Central Staffing Office is in Arlington, TX, but the work will primarily be in Region C. The work hours are PRN 'as needed' with a requirement to be available to work 36 hours/week. This position is not eligible for Full Time or Part Time benefits. The shift is Nights, 7 PM - 7 AM, with no self-scheduling. The pay is $70.00 per hour. Region C includes Fort Worth, Southwest, Cleburne, Clearfork, Burleson, Willow Park, and the Specialty Hospital.

Requirements

  • Nursing Diploma required or Associate’s degree in Nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
  • CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency
  • 5 years of experience with three years in the last five years as a Registered Nurse in area of specialty
  • Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire
  • NIHSS - National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification 30 days
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
