Seasonal Parking Enforcement
About The Position
LAZ Parking is seeking Seasonal Parking Enforcement officers to join their team. This role involves patrolling the city to issue parking citations, communicating with the public about parking regulations, and performing traffic control duties during special events or traffic light outages as needed. The position is seasonal, running from late August through mid-December for the Fall Semester and mid-January through early May for the Spring Semester. Requirements
- Ability to learn, comprehend, and retain knowledge of policies and guidelines
- Must be computer literate to enter data accurately into handheld device.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to report to work on-time for assigned shifts.
- Able to walk, e-bike for duration of shift in a variety of weather conditions and enter and exit out of a vehicle frequently.
- Flexibility in schedule, work holidays if scheduled and mandatory special events.
Responsibilities
- Issue computer-generated parking citations with a handheld device while patrolling the City
- Communicate with the public to explain parking regulations.
- Perform traffic control duties during special events and traffic light outages. (As needed)
