About The Position

A Bloomingdale’s Seasonal Sales Professional guides and inspires customers to make style a source of creative energy in their lives. The role delivers the Bloomingdale’s customer experience through welcoming, engaging, and inquisitive conversations that build human connections with customers shopping in the store. Sales Professionals circulate actively on the sales floor, determine customer needs, share the benefits of Loyalty programs, and support the shopping experience from start to finish. They also deliver operational excellence by using the store’s fulfillment system, following merchandise-to-sell standards, and maintaining the sales floor and fitting rooms.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.
Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds.
Position requires prolonged periods of standing and walking; may involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, and color vision.
