About The Position

A Bloomingdale’s Seasonal Sales Professional guides and inspires customers to make style a source of creative energy in their lives. The role delivers the Bloomingdale’s customer experience through welcoming, engaging, and inquisitive conversation that builds a human connection with customers. Sales Professionals circulate actively on the sales floor, determine customer needs, explain the benefits of loyalty programs, and support the shopping experience from start to finish. They also deliver operational excellence by using the store’s fulfillment system and meeting merchandise-to-sell standards while maintaining the sales floor and fitting rooms.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.
Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds.
The role requires prolonged periods of standing and walking around the store or department; it may also involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, and color vision.
