About The Position

Bloomingdale’s Seasonal Sales Professionals guide and inspire customers to make style a source of creative energy in their lives. They deliver a welcoming, engaging, and inquisitive customer experience through conversation and human connection. Sales Professionals circulate the sales floor, determine customer needs, share the benefits of Loyalty programs, and support the shopping experience from start to finish. They also deliver operational excellence by using the store fulfillment system, following merchandise-to-sell standards, and maintaining the sales floor and fitting rooms.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods.
Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, and stoop; color vision may be involved.
Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.
Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds.
