About The Position

This position involves processing horse racing wagers and cashing winning tickets in a fast-paced environment. The teller will also be responsible for handling IRS documentation for winning tickets, printing programs, and providing excellent customer service to guests.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of related experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Working knowledge of totalizer equipment, copier equipment, and basic office equipment.
• Knowledge of common and exotic betting types.
• Knowledge of Title 31 and Title 26 tracking systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Sell and cash mutuel tickets in strict accordance with regulations and company policies.
• Cash IRS mutuel tickets, complete W-2G information, and follow tracking system procedures.
• Prepare simulcast rooms for daily activities, including setting decoders and printing programs.
• Sell simulcast programs and racing forms using a point-of-sale system.
• Provide exceptional customer service to mutuel guests.
