About The Position
As a Warehouse Colleague, you will help create a seamless, customer-focused experience by receiving, storing, picking, packing, sorting, and shipping merchandise. You will handle items carefully, work safely, and help keep the warehouse clean, organized, and running smoothly. The role also emphasizes supporting a positive, respectful workplace and contributing to on-time delivery and excellent customer service. Part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12–24 hours per week, with actual hours dependent on business needs and colleague availability. The position is seasonal and requires flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements

- Ability to work various shifts and switch between multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
- Proficiency using computers and handheld technology.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, up to 12 hours excluding breaks.
- Ability to frequently use computers and handheld electronic equipment.
- Ability to reach above eye level, crouch, kneel, stoop, push, and pull.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50–75 lbs.
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Ability to hear and see safety and emergency alarms and Power Industrial Truck warning devices.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload cartons and merchandise from and to delivery trucks, conveyor systems, and other equipment.
- Lift, carry, push, and pull packages on a continuous and repetitive basis while sorting and organizing merchandise.
- Complete processing, receiving, and shipping activities on time and in accordance with productivity standards.
- Input data accurately using PCs, handheld computers, radio frequency equipment, or similar devices, and learn area-specific warehouse and proprietary systems.
- Perform job functions safely and promptly report accidents or safety hazards to the safety committee.
- Start shifts prepared by following the dress code, attending start-ups, checking work areas, staying informed about daily goals, and knowing who is providing support.
- Prioritize customers by working with speed and accuracy, handling merchandise with care, and packing customer orders neatly and thoughtfully.
- Foster a welcoming and respectful workplace by greeting coworkers, building trust, helping new teammates, and supporting colleagues.
- Finish shifts by tidying the workstation, returning equipment, replenishing supplies, and recognizing coworkers’ contributions.
- Help foster acceptance, respect, and authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
- Maintain regular, reliable attendance and punctuality.
