About The Position

Nordstrom Rack is hiring seasonal customer service team members for Sales, Cashier, Stock, and/or Fulfillment roles at Dulles Town Crossing. Team members work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment to make customer experiences quick, easy, and enjoyable while helping customers find deals. Applicants may discuss their preferred role during the interview process. The position requires a flexible schedule based on business needs.

Requirements

Clear and effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.

Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds for Stock Support or Fulfillment roles.
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.

Responsibilities

For Sales and Cashier roles, create a smooth fitting-room experience by greeting customers, taking them to fitting rooms, and sorting and returning clothing to the floor.
Encourage and inspire others to adopt initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
Keep stockrooms organized and complete inventory processes, ensuring merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed.
Keep the sales floor ready through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
Assist customers with transactions in a seamless and friendly manner.
Demonstrate expertise in technologies used in the store.
Resolve customer situations in a timely and effective manner.
For Stock Support and Fulfillment roles, receive and unload freight, unpack merchandise, and deliver it to selling departments.
Fulfill customer orders promptly while meeting quality standards.
Prepare and ship customer orders according to quality, packing, and shipping standards.
Use inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments according to inventory control processes.
Help maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
Provide general store support, including setting up special events, organizing the backroom, marking down merchandise, and relocating store fixtures.
