About The Position

Nordstrom is hiring a seasonal commission sales employee in Fine Jewelry at Towson Town Center. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, building customer relationships, offering fashion and product expertise, and meeting personal sales goals. They develop a personal customer base through in-store interactions, outreach, and digital tools, and use the 2-2-2 Method, Nordy Club enrollment, and Personal Book to support follow-up and loyalty. They also maintain a customer-ready department through stocking, re-merchandising, markdowns, merchandise recovery, and participation in bi-annual inventory counts. The schedule varies according to business needs and may include evenings, weekends, holidays, event shifts, and occasional support for other departments. Pay is listed as $16.25 per hour, with commission varying by merchandise sold. The position may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses. Ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
