About The Position

Seasonal Retail Staff positions are part-time and of limited duration, from November 8, 2026, to January 9, 2027. This is a non-benefit-eligible position of less than 30 hours per week. Applications will be accepted until Wednesday, November 4, 2026.

Requirements

• Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills, including patience, kindness, problem-solving, and the ability to work with diverse communities and customer needs.
• Professional telephone skills.
• Ability to complete sales transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Ability to de-escalate situations that may arise in a retail work environment while working with the public.
• Knowledge of cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, mid-shifts, and weekends.
• Ability to conduct oneself in a civil, professional, and respectful manner at work.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with purchases and questions using customer-focused service strategies.
• Handle cash, card, and trade transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, orderly counter area, including in front, on top, and behind.
