Seasonal Associate - Mornings/Afternoons/Weekends
About The Position
The Seasonal Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The role follows operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained across multiple store areas to support business needs. The associate supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect; handles customer purchases and returns accurately; promotes credit and loyalty programs; processes and prepares merchandise; and contributes to store recovery, cleanliness, safety, and shrink-reduction efforts. The position also involves receiving and providing feedback, complying with labor laws and company procedures, and performing other assigned duties.

Responsibilities
- Engage and interact with customers while following established customer experience practices.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Maintain merchandising standards and follow established merchandising procedures.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards, and help maintain the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and help maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
