About The Position
Stretch Zone Reston is seeking friendly, dependable, and motivated Stretch Practitioners for its wellness studio in Reston, Virginia. The studio specializes in practitioner-assisted stretching to help clients improve flexibility, mobility, and range of motion while providing a welcoming, supportive experience. Practitioners provide assisted stretching and also connect with prospective clients through introductory demonstrations, explain membership options, and help convert demos into memberships. New hires must complete online training followed by in-person training before independently providing stretching sessions. Training covers Stretch Zone techniques, procedures, and safety standards. Part-time and full-time positions are available, with morning and afternoon shifts. Specific scheduling needs and availability will be discussed during the interview.
Requirements
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Comfort working hands-on with clients in a professional setting.
- Sales-minded, with the ability to confidently ask for the sale and close new memberships.
- Comfort discussing pricing, membership options, and client benefits.
- Reliable, punctual, motivated, and willing to learn.
- Interest in health, fitness, movement, or wellness.
- Successfully complete required online and in-person training before independently providing stretching sessions.
Nice To Haves
- Previous sales, retail, fitness, personal training, massage therapy, or customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience meeting sales goals or converting leads into customers is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide practitioner-assisted stretching sessions following Stretch Zone protocols.
- Conduct introductory stretch demonstrations for prospective members.
- Educate prospective clients about assisted stretching benefits and available membership options.
- Understand client needs, answer questions, explain membership value, and close sales to convert demonstrations into memberships.
- Build relationships with clients and provide an excellent customer experience.
- Follow stretching techniques, safety guidelines, and training procedures.
- Follow up with prospective members to encourage membership sign-ups.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional studio.
- Support daily studio operations and contribute to a positive team environment.
