About The Position

The Seasonal Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The role adheres to operational, merchandise, loss prevention, labor, and safety standards and may involve cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs.

Associates model positive customer service practices and a respectful store culture; accurately process purchases and returns; promote credit and loyalty programs; prepare and merchandise products; and participate in store recovery, cleanliness, and shrink-reduction efforts. They provide and accept feedback, respond to changing priorities, and perform other duties as assigned. The position is seasonal and offers a starting pay range of $15.00–$15.50 per hour, with actual pay based on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers.
• Role-model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.

• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintain merchandising standards and follow established merchandising procedures.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards and help maintain cleanliness throughout the store.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Cross-train in multiple store areas as needed to support business needs.
