About The Position

The Curbside Clerk, also described as a Digital Clerk, fulfills customers’ online curbside orders and helps create a smooth, friendly pickup experience. The role involves shopping orders throughout the store, accurately selecting and verifying products, preparing and staging orders, and assisting customers at the curbside pickup area. The clerk also collects payment, responds to customer questions, and helps maintain a clean, organized pickup area. Training is provided.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
At least 1 year of experience.
Attention to detail, organization, and dependability.
Ability to follow procedures efficiently and consistently.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

Prior retail experience.
Past cashier experience.
Past online ordering experience.

Responsibilities

Provide courteous service at the curbside pickup area, including accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
Greet customers in person and by phone, and respond to their questions and needs.
Maintain positive working relationships with customers, store team members, and leadership.
Resolve customer concerns promptly, partnering with leadership when needed.
Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
Select items throughout the store, scan and verify products, and bag items according to standards.
Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
