About The Position

The Curbside Clerk is responsible for fulfilling customers’ online curbside orders and creating a smooth, friendly pickup experience. The role involves shopping orders quickly and accurately, collecting payment during carside pickup, and supporting customer loyalty and satisfaction. Clerks receive workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout their shift. They select, scan, verify, and bag products; store and stage orders according to food safety guidelines; and maintain a clean, orderly curbside pickup area. The position also involves communicating with customers, responding to questions, resolving concerns with leadership when needed, and assisting with other tasks as needed. Training is provided.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven, with the ability to follow procedures efficiently and consistently.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

• Prior retail experience.
• Past cashier experience.
• Past online ordering experience.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill online curbside orders accurately and efficiently.
• Provide service at the curbside pickup area, including accurate order fulfillment and payment collection during the carside experience.
• Greet customers courteously in person and by phone, and respond to their questions and needs.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members across the store, and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly, partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Select items throughout the store, scan and verify products, and bag items according to bagging standards.
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
