About The Position

The Curbside Clerk fulfills customers’ online curbside orders and helps provide an accurate, convenient pickup experience. The role involves shopping orders throughout the store, verifying and bagging products, staging orders safely, and assisting customers at the curbside pickup area. The clerk also supports smooth daily operations by following established procedures, maintaining a clean pickup area, and working with customers, team members, and leadership. Training is provided.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Minimum of 1 year of experience.
Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
Able to follow procedures efficiently and consistently.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

Prior retail experience.
Past cashier experience.
Past online ordering experience.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, accurate service at the curbside pickup area, including collecting payment for orders.
Greet customers in person and by phone and respond to their questions and needs.
Maintain positive working relationships with customers, store team members, and leadership.
Partner with leadership to resolve customer concerns promptly.
Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
Select items throughout the store, scan and verify products, and bag them according to standards.
Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
