About The Position

Record score and control game clock at basketball games as part of the department's basketball league. Check scoreboard and game clock equipment before each game. Notify officials of any equipment problems. Keep hand-written log and recap of the score and statistics of each game.

Requirements

• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Ability to communicate (in English) with children and adults.
• Skill in basic math (add, subtract, multiply whole numbers).
• Visual acuity to read scoreboard and official’s hand signals.

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of the rules of basketball and proper time keeping procedures.
