About The Position

BAYADA is recruiting a compassionate registered nurse to provide one-on-one nursing care to school-aged pediatric clients for the 2026–2027 school year. The role is described as private-duty in-home nursing, serving children in the setting where they are most comfortable. Nurses work autonomously while receiving support from a larger, close-knit care team with 24/7 clinical support. Client cases are matched to nurses based on the care, skills, and experience that can best benefit the client. Full-time and part-time availability is noted, along with other shift offerings including per-diem and on-call.

Requirements

• Active and current license to practice as a professional nurse (RN).
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned.
• Calm and reassuring presence, active listening skills, excellent assessment skills, and strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to provide care with compassion, excellence, and reliability.

Nice To Haves

• Previous home health care experience is welcomed but not required; training is provided.
• Experience working with children is not required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care to pediatric clients with a variety of diagnoses.
• Provide complex care, including tracheostomy and ventilator management, when appropriate and chosen by the nurse.
• Provide family education.
• Perform clinical assessments.
• Provide nursing care according to the care plan.
• Administer medication, treatment, and therapy.
• Travel to assigned cases.
