About The Position

BAYADA is recruiting a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care to school-aged pediatric clients, ages 3 and older, for the 2026–2027 school year throughout Erie County. Nurses provide care in clients’ homes, where children can thrive, and build ongoing relationships with clients and families. The role offers clinical autonomy, a larger care team, and 24/7 clinical support. Nurses may have the opportunity to provide complex care, including tracheostomy and ventilator management. The position is part of the Skilled Nursing Unit. Full-time and part-time availability is mentioned, as well as other shift arrangements offered by the organization. BAYADA provides training for candidates without home health or pediatric experience. Requirements

Hold an active and current license to practice as a professional nurse (RN).
Be able to travel to assigned cases.
Demonstrate a calm and reassuring presence, active listening skills, excellent assessment skills, and strong written and verbal communication.
Deliver patient care with compassion, excellence, and reliability.

Nice To Haves

Previous home health care experience is welcomed but not required; training is provided.
Experience working with children is not required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to pediatric clients with a variety of diagnoses.
Provide family education.
Perform clinical assessments.
Provide nursing care according to the care plan.
Administer medication, treatment, and therapy.
Provide complex care, including tracheostomy and ventilator management, if chosen.
