About The Position

Infusion for Health is a referral-based infusion center serving providers across multiple locations in California, Arizona, Nevada, Washington, Colorado, and Missouri. The company provides infusion therapy in comfortable private rooms and aims to deliver exceptional service and professional, patient-focused clinical care. The Scheduling Coordinator supports the patient care department by answering and routing calls, assisting patients with appointments and service questions, addressing concerns, and maintaining patient records and database information. This is a full-time, onsite position at the Brea headquarters, five days a week, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Compensation is $22–$25 per hour, plus benefits.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or higher.
• At least 1 year of experience in a related office, administrative, clerical, or customer service environment, using phones and computers as primary job tools.
• At least 6 months of call center experience.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Ability to navigate Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to work with computers and enter data quickly and accurately.
• Effective, polite communication skills and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls from patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers, directing callers to the correct department or individual.
• Assist with scheduling appointments and answer questions about Infusion for Health.
• Understand and comply with HIPAA policies and procedures.
• Make outbound calls regarding no-shows, rescheduling, and appointment confirmations.
• Perform data entry.
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure scheduling guidelines are followed.
• Maintain patient records and update information in the center’s database.
