About The Position

The Scheduling Coordinator of Table Games is responsible for creating, maintaining, and modifying as needed, supervisor, dealer, and other employee schedules within the department on a daily, weekly, and bi-weekly basis. This role requires managing employee calendars, time off, and special requests, while overseeing adherence to policies and procedures. The coordinator must demonstrate a working knowledge of the marketplace, assist in building best practices, and understand the impact of their actions on the company both financially and on guest relations. They should exhibit respectful consideration of viewpoints and put the guest at the forefront of every decision, providing great customer service.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older and have the ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the applicable statute, rules and regulations.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • One (1) plus years’ experience in scheduling.
  • Ability to remain organized in a pressure situation.
  • Ability to input and access information into a computer.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relations with staff.
  • Problem solving, administrative, multi-tasking, organization and prioritization skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals and other related documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries from other Team Members or guests.
  • Fluency in English required.
  • Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimal, and work with mathematical such as probability and inference.
  • Ability to create, read and analyze spread sheets of statistical data.
  • Ability to decipher various reports and maintains reports upon request.

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and modify team member schedules for the Table Games Department.
  • Record time off requests for all employees of the department.
  • Advise department managers of scheduling issues.
  • Manages employee calendar, time off, and special requests.
  • Oversees the adherence of policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of our marketplace; actively and collaboratively assists in building the best practices necessary for the Company’s success.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the impact actions and decisions have on the Company both financially and on guest relations.
  • Demonstrates the initiative to present new ideas and perspective to create positive results.
  • Exhibits respectful consideration of viewpoints, situations and others.
  • Puts the guest at the forefront of every decision.
  • Provide great customer service to all guests.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.
