Dover Behavioral Health System is a 104-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in the beautiful Dover, Delaware area. Dover Behavioral Health System features individual units for adolescents and adults and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. We attribute this success to our talented and dedicated staff. We are the best at what we do! We are seeking a dynamic and talented candidate for our Scheduling Coordinator role. The incumbent will be responsible for appropriately staffing and providing payroll support to the nursing department. This position is full time 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4pm. The hours are flexible and may require some weekend hours based on scheduling & payroll needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Previous experience in healthcare scheduling and payroll
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills are required

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with Shift Hound and/or Kronos

Responsibilities

• Following the Hospital’s FTE ratios and staffing guidelines, staff the Nursing Department ensuring it is appropriately staffed at all times in a 24/7 environment
• Accurately communicate to the nurse management team and supervisory staff current staffing levels
• Continually forecast scheduling needs based on the hospital’s census and any other circumstances (i.e. Weather, local events, etc.)
• Collect and compute staffing statistics on a daily basis including attendance, tardiness, and meal alerts and provide weekly staff absences to CNO
• Partner closely with Payroll and the Human Resources Department to ensure staff are paid correctly and timely, this includes entering and completing system entry for payroll weekly
• Other duties as assigned
