Scheduler - Cardiology
About The Position
Join the Saint Luke's Cardiology Team as a Scheduler at the North location. This is a full-time, day-shift role, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no nights or weekends. A potential hybrid opportunity may be available after 90 days. The Cardiology Scheduler supports patient care by coordinating appointments, diagnostic testing, and follow-up care to help patients access services in a timely manner. The Scheduler is a central contact for physicians and nurses at each Cardiology office. Saint Luke's Cardiovascular Consultants serves patients throughout the Kansas City area and surrounding communities, using a team approach to comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Strong computer skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Applicable experience: less than 1 year.
Nice To Haves
- Previous scheduling experience, preferably in a medical office, clinic, hospital, or specialty practice.
Responsibilities
- Schedule appointments and services.
- Complete scheduling from referrals and manage providers’ recall lists.
- Answer incoming calls to operator and scheduling lines.
- Provide cross coverage for registration and reception.
- Determine financial accountability based on available information and referrals.
