About The Position
The Saw Operator sets up, operates, and tends to machines that cut metal according to customer specifications. The role requires accuracy and efficiency in processing materials, verifying dimensions, and operating overhead cranes and forklifts. The 2nd shift schedule is 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with availability to work overtime as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to accurately use standard measuring tools.
- Ability to follow instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate saw machines to process metal materials according to customer specifications.
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in cutting processes.
- Use measuring tools to verify finished workpiece dimensions.
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts as required.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
