SAT Reading/Writing Tutor
About The Position
C2 Education is hiring a part-time SAT Reading/Writing Tutor to provide high-quality instruction using C2 Educational Systems Inc.'s curriculum and educational philosophy. The role focuses on fostering a positive learning environment and supporting students’ academic growth and development. C2 Education supports students with college test preparation, AP exams, college essays and admissions, as well as K–12 tutoring and AP/Summer Boot Camps. Sessions take place after school to accommodate students, typically Monday through Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; schedules may vary by location. The position is based at Livingston C2 in Livingston, New Jersey, with negligible travel. The hourly salary range is $24.00–$30.00.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Score at the 95th percentile on C2's diagnostic SAT, AP, or ACT test.

Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum and learning goals.
- Regularly assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents or guardians.
- Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a supportive and enriching learning environment.
- Communicate with parents or guardians about student progress and concerns.
- Participate in professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices.
- Adhere to C2 Educational Systems Inc.'s policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties relevant to the position and student needs as assigned.
