SAT Reading/Writing Tutor
About The Position
C2 Education is hiring a part-time SAT Reading/Writing Tutor to provide high-quality instruction following C2 Educational Systems Inc.'s curriculum and educational philosophy. The role focuses on fostering a positive learning environment and supporting students' academic growth and development. The tutor must be able to teach in person and is based at the Ridgefield C2 location in Ridgefield, Connecticut. Sessions take place after school hours to accommodate students. Typical hours are Monday through Thursday, 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; schedules may vary by location. The position pays $21.00–$30.00 per hour, with negligible travel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Score at the 95th percentile on C2's diagnostic SAT, AP, or ACT test.
- Ability to tutor in person.

Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum and learning goals.
- Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents or guardians.
- Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a supportive and enriching learning environment.
- Communicate with parents or guardians about student progress and concerns.
- Participate in professional development to improve teaching skills and stay current with best practices.
- Adhere to C2 Educational Systems Inc.'s policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties relevant to the position and students' needs, as assigned.
