About The Position

Reading Corps is hiring Reading Tutors to help students improve their reading skills at local schools. Tutors receive training in proven activities and ongoing coaching. Each school day, tutors work with pairs of students for 20-minute reading practice sessions, following a schedule until all assigned students have been served. Tutors encourage students as they build their reading skills and confidence. The positions serve the 2026–27 school year and run January 2026 through June 2027. Full-time positions are 35 hours per week, with fewer hours during weeks with holidays or school release days; part-time positions at 20 hours per week are also available. Hours are during the school day, Monday through Friday, with time off on holidays and school release days.
