About The Position

Reading Corps Reading Tutors serve at local schools, helping students improve their reading skills through trained, evidence-based activities and ongoing coaching. Tutors work with pairs of students for 20 minutes at a time throughout each school day, following a schedule until all assigned students have been served. They encourage students as they build reading skills and confidence, track progress, conduct assessments, and enter scores into data software. The role includes regular meetings with the school's onsite coach and participation in training and coaching to support the tutor's own growth. The organization is hiring for the 2026–27 school year.
