About The Position

As an SAP IBP Solution Architect, you will lead the design and end-to-end delivery of integrated SAP IBP solutions across S&OP, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Response Planning, and Control Tower. You will partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate complex supply chain requirements into scalable, sustainable solutions and provide architectural leadership throughout the implementation lifecycle.

The role combines deep SAP IBP expertise with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Activate, Clean Core principles, SAP Business AI, and AI-enabled transformation. You will lead integrated delivery teams, identify opportunities to apply AI to SAP processes and business outcomes, and work with functional, technical, data, cloud, and AI teams. Application Business Architects lead business transformation, develop and implement business capability models, capabilities, and value streams, and advise clients on meeting business requirements through package or SaaS solutions. The role may include process analysis, workshop facilitation, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• 7–10+ years of overall SAP experience with strong functional and solution architecture expertise and specialization in SAP IBP.
• Deep experience architecting and implementing SAP IBP across S&OP, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Response Planning, and Control Tower.
• Demonstrated experience leading SAP IBP teams and coordinating multiple functional and technical workstreams.
• Strong hands-on experience with IBP configuration, solution build, testing, cutover, go-live, and production support.
• Experience with at least two to three full lifecycle SAP IBP implementations, as well as application management, support, and production troubleshooting.
• Strong integration knowledge between SAP IBP and SAP S/4HANA, including CPI-DS and cloud-based data integration.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Activate, Clean Core principles, SAP Business AI, and SAP Signavio.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable solution architectures and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Foundation-level understanding of AI concepts, prompt engineering, and AI-enabled business transformation.
• Basic technical literacy across APIs, cloud technologies, SQL, Python, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Ability to understand SAP Business AI capabilities, identify AI opportunities, and contribute to AI-enabled SAP transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with SAP Joule, Copilot, and practical application of prompt engineering.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, consulting, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage business executives, client architects, and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to provide architectural leadership, independently drive solution decisions, and guide distributed onshore and offshore teams through delivery.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with SAP APO and broader SAP S/4HANA supply chain capabilities.
• Exposure to SAP Signavio and business process transformation.
• Knowledge and experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Certifications in SaaS or package-based solutions and relevant methodology are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and end-to-end delivery of SAP IBP solutions across S&OP, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Response Planning, and Control Tower.
• Lead design discussions with business stakeholders and use SAP IBP capabilities to translate requirements into scalable, sustainable solutions.
• Collaborate with business process architects, functional and technical teams, and client stakeholders to develop integrated SAP IBP solutions.
• Provide architectural leadership across solution design, configuration, build, testing, cutover, deployment, go-live, and production stabilization.
• Lead and coordinate onshore and offshore teams and collaborate across SAP and business teams to support successful delivery.
• Architect SAP IBP integrations with SAP S/4HANA, including CPI-DS and associated cloud and data integration.
• Apply SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Activate, and Clean Core principles in solution architecture and delivery.
• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex SAP IBP production and application management issues.
• Translate technical concepts into clear business language, develop prototypes and presentations, and communicate SAP and industry best practices to executive stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for SAP Business AI to augment supply chain planning, decision-making, and SAP business processes.
• Use AI productivity capabilities, including SAP Joule and Copilot, and prompt-engineering fundamentals to support solutioning and delivery.
• Participate in and provide solution leadership for AI-enabled SAP transformation initiatives in collaboration with functional, technical, data, cloud, and AI teams.
• Apply Agile and DevOps methodologies where appropriate to support efficient delivery and continuous improvement.
