SAP Solution Architect
About The Position
Our client is seeking a senior SAP Solution Architect to own the design and direction of its enterprise SAP landscape. The role serves as the technical and functional authority across modules, guides transformation initiatives such as S/4HANA, and ensures SAP investments support long-term business strategy. The architect defines the end-to-end SAP solution architecture and roadmap, leads S/4HANA transformation, migration, or RISE with SAP cloud initiatives, and translates business strategy into integrated solutions across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and sales. The position also establishes architecture standards and governance, evaluates SAP and third-party capabilities, oversees SAP and non-SAP integrations, guides delivery teams and partners, and presents recommendations and trade-offs to executive leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business; a master’s degree is a plus.
- 10+ years of SAP experience, including 3+ years in an architect or lead design role.
- Multiple full-cycle implementations, including at least one S/4HANA project.
- Broad cross-module knowledge, with deep expertise in at least one area.
- Strong understanding of integration, data migration, and SAP technical architecture.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead without direct authority.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with SAP BTP and RISE with SAP.
- SAP certifications in S/4HANA or Enterprise Architecture.
- Manufacturing or distribution industry background.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the end-to-end SAP solution architecture and roadmap.
- Lead the design of S/4HANA transformation, migration, or cloud initiatives using RISE with SAP.
- Translate business strategy into integrated solutions across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and sales.
- Set architecture standards, governance, and best practices for configuration, custom development, and integration.
- Evaluate new SAP capabilities, including BTP, Fiori, analytics, and cloud, as well as third-party solutions.
- Oversee integration architecture between SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Guide functional analysts, developers, and implementation partners.
- Present recommendations and trade-offs to executive leadership.
