About The Position
The Sanitation role at TreeHouse Foods’ Hanover, Pennsylvania location maintains sanitary conditions to ensure Good Manufacturing Practices by performing prescribed sanitation duties. This is a full-time, permanent role on Crew 2, working from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and every other Wednesday. The stated pay rate is $21.62 per hour.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience following instructions and process documents.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a manufacturing environment; food manufacturing experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Clean men’s and women’s restrooms at the start of each shift, refill supplies, and repeat as necessary during the shift.
- Complete assigned sanitation work orders, which may include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, scraping, emptying garbage, and checking and replenishing supplies.
- Return sanitation supplies and tools to the sanitation room.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed to contribute to team efforts.
- Maintain cooperative relationships with coworkers and management by communicating necessary information, responding to requests, building rapport, and participating in problem solving.
