About The Position

The Sanitation Team Member works in the warehouse at Mastronardi Produce, providing day-to-day assistance with cleaning activities required by the Sanitation Program. The role supports cleaning in both the interior and exterior warehouse and performs conventional and organic cleaning on production lines. Team members are expected to follow directions, support colleagues, attend required training, comply with company policies, and demonstrate the company’s PRIDE values: Passionate, Respectful, Innovative, Driven, and striving for Excellence.

The position involves safely using prescribed personal protective equipment, chemicals, machinery, and cleaning equipment. It also includes some heavy lifting, breaking down equipment, and maintaining prescribed records. Work takes place under normal manufacturing-facility conditions, including refrigerated warehouses ranging from 30°F to 70°F. The role requires lifting up to 30 pounds.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Self-motivated, positive attitude, and willing to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Take ownership of the job and demonstrate professionalism and personal integrity.
• Follow company policies, rules, and regulations, especially those related to Health & Safety and Food Safety.
• Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cleaning duties in the interior and exterior warehouse.
• Assist with conventional and organic cleaning on production lines.
• Work as a team member, follow directions, and offer support and suggestions when necessary.
• Attend Sanitation, Health & Safety, and Food Safety training and comply with company policies, rules, and regulations.
• Wear prescribed personal protective equipment.
• Operate machinery and equipment safely, including forklifts, scissor lifts, weed whackers, vacuums, floor scrubbers, and pressure washers.
• Perform some heavy lifting and break down equipment.
• Maintain records as prescribed.
• Handle chemicals safely and work responsibly to minimize damage to company equipment or property.
