About The Position

The 3rd Shift Sanitation 1 employee cleans the egg processing plant after daily production is finished. The role includes cleaning equipment, floors, tools, and work areas so the plant is clean, safe, and ready for the next shift. Training will be provided. General hours are 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Requirements

• No previous sanitation experience is required; training will be provided.
• Able to work third shift and overnight hours.
• Able to follow directions and learn cleaning procedures.
• Able to work in a wet, cool, and fast-paced plant environment.
• Dependable, safety-minded, and willing to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, floors, drains, and work areas after production is complete.
• Remove egg debris, waste, and other materials from assigned areas.
• Use hoses, foamers, scrubbers, squeegees, and other cleaning tools as trained.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and follow instructions on labels and from supervisors.
• Follow safety and food safety rules and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Report equipment problems, safety concerns, or areas needing attention to a supervisor or lead.
• Perform other cleaning and sanitation duties as assigned.
