About The Position

The 3rd Shift Sanitation 1 employee cleans the egg processing plant after production is finished so it is clean, safe, and ready for the next shift. Duties include cleaning equipment, floors, tools, and work areas. Training will be provided. General hours are 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Requirements

• No previous sanitation experience is required; training will be provided.
• Able to work third shift and overnight hours.
• Able to follow directions and learn cleaning procedures.
• Able to work in a wet, cool, fast-paced plant environment.
• Dependable, safety-minded, and willing to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, floors, drains, and work areas after production is complete.
• Remove egg debris, waste, and other material from assigned areas.
• Use hoses, foamers, scrubbers, squeegees, and other cleaning tools as trained.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and follow label and supervisor instructions.
• Follow safety and food safety rules and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Report equipment problems, safety concerns, or areas needing attention to a supervisor or lead.
• Perform other cleaning and sanitation duties as assigned.
