About The Position

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is hiring a Sandwich Maker to work as part of a dynamic team preparing menu items made with honest, whole ingredients. The menu includes sandwiches, soups, and salads, alongside from-scratch baked bread and pastries. The role calls for preparing meal items quickly, confidently, and accurately according to specifications, while multitasking and helping other departments when needed.

Shifts vary from week to week based on customer traffic and the time of year. Shifts may start as early as 7 a.m. and end as late as 11 p.m., Monday through Saturday. The position requires continuous standing and walking throughout the shift, with limited opportunities to sit. Essential job functions must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, and federal food-handler and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule; shifts vary and may run Monday through Saturday from as early as 7 a.m. to as late as 11 p.m.
