About The Position

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is hiring a Sandwich Maker to prepare menu items as part of a dynamic team. The menu includes sandwiches, soups, and salads, alongside the cafe’s scratch-baked bread and pastries, made with whole ingredients. The role requires preparing meal items quickly and confidently according to specifications, multitasking, learning from mistakes, and helping other departments when needed.

Positions are available full-time or part-time. Morning/daytime availability is required, and shifts vary according to customer traffic and season. Shifts run Monday through Saturday and may start as early as 7 a.m. or end as late as 11 p.m. The job requires continuous standing and walking, with limited opportunities to sit. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and able to perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have morning/daytime availability.
• Must be attentive to compliance with local, state, and federal food-handler and sanitation regulations.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift, with limited opportunities for sitting.
• Must have a flexible schedule; shifts vary and take place Monday through Saturday, starting as early as 7 a.m. and ending as late as 11 p.m.
