About The Position

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is hiring a part-time Sandwich Maker to prepare menu items as part of a dynamic team. The menu includes sandwiches, soups, and salads, alongside scratch-baked bread and pastries made with whole ingredients. The role requires morning/daytime availability, although shifts vary with customer traffic and the time of year. Shifts run Monday through Saturday, starting as early as 7 a.m. and ending as late as 11 p.m. Kneaders locations are closed every Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have morning/daytime availability.
• Must be attentive to compliance with local, state, and federal food-handler and sanitation regulations.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• The work requires continuous standing and walking throughout the shift, with limited opportunities for sitting.

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of kitchen or work experience; preferred but not required.
• A can-do attitude and the ability to work quickly and confidently.
• Ability to multitask, learn from mistakes, and proactively help other departments.
