About The Position
CC Holdings is hiring friendly, motivated, and detail-oriented Sandwich Artist/Cashier/CSR team members for its Java House Bistro at Indianapolis International Airport. The role prepares sandwiches, wraps, salads, and protein bowls according to recipes and Nature’s Table standards, with a focus on efficiency, consistency, and sanitation. Cashier duties include processing cash, debit, and credit card transactions through a point-of-sale system, making change, balancing cash drawers, and providing excellent customer service. This introductory restaurant and food-service role provides training in company procedures, food preparation, customer service, cash handling, food safety, and restaurant operations. The position operates Monday through Sunday, with nights and weekends required. The stated operating window is 5:00 AM–11:00 PM, with shifts varying. The anticipated start date is late October through December, depending on hiring and onboarding timelines. A valid driver’s license is required to obtain an airport parking pass.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Arrive in proper uniform and follow grooming standards.
- Set up stations according to café guidelines.
- Prepare food items in a sanitary and timely manner, following recipes, portion control, and presentation standards.
- Restock items throughout shifts as needed.
- Clean and maintain stations while following sanitation and safety procedures.
- Use and maintain equipment properly.
- Accommodate guests with food allergies or intolerances.
- Follow food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to ensure food safety.
- Process cash, debit, and credit card transactions; make change; and follow cash handling procedures.
- Record orders, handle payments, and balance cash drawers to support financial accountability.
- Thank customers, provide customer service, encourage repeat business, and promote products, services, and special promotions through suggestive selling.
- Act as a positive role model for staff and customers.
- Assist with training new sandwich artist/cashier team members.
- Collaborate with the team and assist with additional tasks when needed.
